Happy New Year, Friends! It's time to play a little catch up!! Here is a little of what I was up to in December! It was a great Christmas! I enjoyed spending time with my family and friends and celebrating the birth of our Savior!
I always enjoy putting up my Christmas decor! This year was no exception!
Christmas Cards are my FAVORITE!!!!
I've decided to keep them all in a basket so I can enjoy my sweet friends' smiling faces all year round!
This was my favorite card! My Aunt had this commissioned for her Christmas Card this year. This house is on my grandparents' farm. This is not the farm house that my Mom grew up in, but this is the house I remember visiting when I was a little girl! I used to climb the tree and sit on that low branch! I'm having it framed so I can display it for Christmases to come!
One way to get in the Christmas Spirit is shopping for Operation Christmas Child! The kids from FBC had alot of fun taking a trip to the Dollar Tree and packing shoeboxes for kids all over the world!
Kara and I were super supper servers at the Christmas Missions' Banquet at FBC!
Instead of exchanging gifts or ornaments, my bunko group decided to adopt an Angel! I hope the little girl we picked had a great Christmas! We sure enjoyed shopping for her!
Cotillion Ball 2012
So proud of these girls! We had another great Christmas Ball!
Don't they look beautiful in their white dresses!?!
Christmas Tea at Megan's House
I love this tradition with Leah, India, & Megan!
This day was definitely one of the highlights of December!
There were lots of fun Christmas Days at School!! This might be the only time you see me take a pictures with a gator!! :) I'm still 100% Viking!!!
Garden Club Ornament Swap
I'm pretty obsessed with the little bird ornament I got! I had a hard time taking him off my tree!
Sunday School Christmas Party
I always enjoy spending a day in the kitchen making goodies for friends!!
I always host Christmas Eve for my family at my house! We go to the Christmas Eve Service at my parents' church then to my house for food and fun!
I went to my parents' on Christmas Eve so Santa would come visit! :)
Santa came & Rob did NOT enjoy waking up early with me! We had a wonderful Christmas, but I didn't take many pictures on Christmas day!! I get busy & that always happens!
My sweet nephew, Grayson, had mono over the Christmas Break and spent about a week in the hospital! I was assigned nurse duty a few times!! He is feeling much better, but what a terrible way to spend your Christmas break! :(
Kelly, Kristen & I met in Jackson to celebrate our "friendmas!"
I took a little weekend trip to New Orleans! It was fun to catch up with my college friends!
Melissa, Allison, and I went out to celebrate Kortnee's birthday!!
Allison & the birthday girl!!!
We ate at Red Fish Grill. One of our friends, Austin is the Executive Chef!
We loved our meal!
Happy Birthday, Kortnee!!
Allison and I had brunch at The Roosevelt Hotel. The Christmas decorations were AMAZING!!
After Brunch we went to the Baptism for Baby James! Laura and Jared welcomed their sweet son into the world the week of Thanksgiving, and I was so glad I could be in New Orleans for his Baptism! This church was beautiful!
This was the Nativity in the church!
Allison and Baby James!
Peter & Sarah weren't able to come for Christmas this year so we enjoyed their visit after the New Year! We had lots of family time! One night Peter, Sarah, Rob and I went to Walnut Hills!!
December was a very busy month, but I'm so glad I got to spend it with those I love!!!
